Unlike traditional wedding videos, a highlight film focuses on storytelling, blending carefully selected soundbites from your vows, ceremony, and toasts with cinematic shots to create a compelling, movie-like experience. While it doesn’t include full-length edits of speeches or ceremony, every moment is captured with the same attention to detailas our Documentary Wedding Package, giving you the option to upgrade to a more comprehensive package later.

How long can we expect to wait for our photos or wedding highlight?
Typically two months for photos and two plus months for wedding highlights. Photos are edited much faster than video.
How long are your films typically?
All of our packages include a highlight film which ranges anywhere from 3-8 minutes and an hour+, depending on which package you choose.
Do you offer different prices for elopements?
We do. Our packages for elopements start at $3,500 and our Documentary package that includes the vows and a beautiful montage for $7,500.
Are you in charge of the mood of the film?
Absolutely! I work closely with the bride and groom before the shoot to ensure the style and mood of your wedding filmperfectly match your vision. Whether you’re dreaming of something moody and dramatic, bright and romantic, playfully comedic, or even an Adam’s Family-inspired gothic theme, I will bring your ideas to life. My approach is all about personalization and creativity, ensuring that your wedding film reflects who you are as a couple.
While I provide cinematic expertise and storytelling direction, the overall mood is a collaborative choice—I’m here to craft a film that feels uniquely you. So, whether you want a classic love story, an edgy artistic vibe, or something completely outside the box, I’ll make it happen!
How much can a couple expect to spend with you?
Our wedding packages for local celebrations in Humboldt County, CA start at $3,500. Our Premium Documentary package is $10,000. We also offer and can include either an adventure session or an additional day of filming, allowing us to capture even more of your unique story.
Do you choose the music? Can we suggest?
I am very open to song suggestion and working music into the edit but we select the music for your film with careful consideration, primarily focusing on pacing and feeling. The music sets the tone and rhythm of your entire video, and while some songs might be great to listen to, they may not be ideal for a wedding film. We need music that builds and has a strong arc, which is something many popular songs might lack. However, a popular song of your choice might actually be perfect for a trailer of your wedding film!
Can you shoot our wedding film vertically?
Yes! In fact, my first two wedding highlights were shot vertically. I have no preference. I like the entire screen that your highlight is being seen on to be filled whether it’s shot vertically or horizontally. Currently my future booked weddings are going to be shot horizontally.
